If you are cleaning out your freezer to make room for this year's hunting haul or any other reason, I'll take most freezer burned meat you have to offer. Don't just throw it away. This way, it doesn't go to waste! I don't want meat the smells bad or has clearly gone bad, but if you don't like the taste of refrozen meat, or don't want to chance it, feel free to contact me and I'll hopefully use it! I'll also take the parts you don't want from deer or deceased farm animals that you may not be comfortable eating yourself.
I feed my dogs a prey model raw diet, I've been feeding raw since 2010. Emails about how that's weird and I shouldn't do it will either be mocked silently and ignored or responded to sarcastically, it will depend on my mood... Emails that are like "That's weird, but I would like to learn more about this weird diet," will not be mocked and/or sarcastically replied to. Nothing wrong with learning, even if you decide it isn't something you would like to do!
****With that introduction out of the way, I'm looking for freezer burned meat or meat that you are just looking to throw out because you'll never eat it or making room for more meat (hunters... I'm looking at you). I'll take basically any species of meat. Turkey, chicken, sheep, deer, cow, squirrel, rabbit, pork, elk, moose, etc. Bones are welcome in the meat, so don't think that because you have turkey legs, I won't want them. I WILL! Ground up meat like burger? That's fine. Have weird organs like lung, heart, liver, kidney, etc? I'll take it AND be excited. Things I don't really want include ham, sausage, overly processed meats. The dogs can't handle the spices and such that we pesky humans like to add to our food for flavor. I suppose they'd WANT it, but it isn't good for them. If you are cleaning out a freezer and don't want all the meat to go to waste, here's your way to get around that. I would love to have it. Just shoot me an email with a general idea of what you have and we can hopefully arrange a time where I could come pick it up. That's right, I'll even come pick it up. I'm fantastic like that.****
Pictures included of the brats you would be helping feed because I'm probably biased, but they are pretty freaking cute. I'm located in Bartlett, but have no problem traveling to your area to pick it up.
