We operate coast to coast and Midwest and East.
We do not send trucks to New York City, Oregon, or Washington.
EWT provides steady freight, strong miles, and well-maintained equipment to keep professional drivers running safely and efficiently.
What We Offer:
1099 independent contractor position
All miles paid – loaded and empty
Average 2,600–3,000 miles per week (depends on how long you stay on the road)
Dry van only – no touch freight
Volvo tractors under 5 years old or under 500K miles
Warranty-backed fleet
Larger sleeper trucks available for team drivers or those who stay out longer
Top specs: APU, inverter, fridge, Elite PrePass, deer guard
75 MPH on pedal / 72 MPH on cruise
Passenger ride-along program
Extra pay: detention, layover, extra stops, breakdowns
Responsibilities
Safely operate a dry van tractor-trailer
Deliver freight on time and in compliance with FMCSA regulations
Conduct pre-trip inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
Check, sign, and submit BOLs to dispatcher after each delivery
Maintain ELD compliance and communicate effectively with dispatch
Requirements
Valid CDL-A
Minimum 2 years of OTR experience
Ability to run legally under ELD regulations
Professional attitude and commitment to safety
Compensation & Pay Schedule
Weekly direct deposit
Pay cutoff: Friday
Funds deposited every Friday directly to driver’s account
