The field conveyor installer is a specialized tradesperson or millwright who assembles, aligns, and maintains material handling systems (like belts and rollers) in warehouses, factories, and industrial plants. They travel to client sites to turn blueprint designs into functional automation hardware.
Must have:

Reliable Transportation to get to and from traveling job sites
Conveyer Install Experience
Responsibilities:
Follow established safety rules, regulations, and procedures at all times and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Attend site-specific training sessions and strictly follow procedures as outlined in the training.
Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete installation tasks.
Perform welding tasks as required to support installation and project needs.
Travel to various job sites as needed to support project execution.
Reviewing project blueprints and marking centerlines on the floor to ensure exact placement of equipment.
Lifting and securing structural support legs, bolting bed sections together, and installing rollers and belts.
Using precision tools, turnbuckles, and levels to square, straighten, and level the conveyor tracks within tight tolerances to prevent premature wear and tracking issues.
Splicing belts, replacing damaged rollers, and performing routine preventative maintenance on existing systems.
Essential Skills
High School Diploma or GED.
1–3 years of field experience.
Ability to read and implement project plans and perform accurate project layout.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to project changes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership skills in coordinating crews and field activities.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
