About the Role:
As a Drain Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and restoring the functionality of residential and commercial drainage systems across various locions in the United Stes. Your primary objective will be to diagnose, repair, and prevent drainage issues to ensure efficient wer flow and prevent property damage. This position requires hands-on technical expertise to opere specialized equipment and tools for cleaning, inspecting, and repairing drains and sewer lines. You will collabore closely with customers to assess their drainage problems, provide clear explanions of the work needed, and deliver high-quality service th meets safety and regulory standards. Ultimely, your work will contribute to the health, safety, and comfort of the communities served by ensuring reliable and effective drainage solutions.
Minimum Qualificions:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Experience in plumbing, drainage, or a reled field with hands-on technical skills.
Ability to opere drain cleaning equipment and diagnostic tools.
Strong understanding of safety protocols and local plumbing codes.
Preferred Qualificions:
Certificion in plumbing or drain cleaning technology.
Experience with video inspection systems for sewer and drain lines.
Knowledge of environmental regulions reled to wastewer management.
Customer service experience in a technical field.
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and emergency call-outs.
Responsibilities:
Inspect and diagnose drainage system issues using cameras, sensors, and other diagnostic tools.
Perform cleaning, unclogging, and repair of drains, pipes, and sewer lines using mechanical and hydro-jetting equipment.
Maintain and opere specialized tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
Communice effectively with customers to explain problems, recommend solutions, and provide cost estimes.
Document work performed, maintain accure service records, and comply with all safety and environmental regulions.
Skills:
The required skills enable the Drain Technician to effectively diagnose and resolve complex drainage issues by utilizing specialized equipment and tools daily. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills are essential for opering cleaning machinery and performing repairs efficiently and safely. Communicion skills are used to interact with customers, explaining technical informion clearly and ensuring customer sisfaction.
