Food that your animals eat equals the quality of the feeders.
This is the perfect protein ratio for healthy reptiles. While higher protein will lead to faster growth in your roaches, it is not ideal for your your reptiles. A cheap chow(typically made with dog food, cat food, or even fish food, in some cases) can cause uric acid to build up in the body of the invertebrate and when consumed by your reptile, can pass that uric acid on to them and cause gout.
