Cyber-Vocalist seeking recording projects.
I have been writing and recording original music for decades, and am seeking relatively advanced collaborators for co-writing of original music. I am not neccesarily seeking exposure or particular success, but am a driven songwriter/lyricist. I am strongly inspired/influenced by the best singers of the 70s and 80s for the most part. I studied singing with veteran voice teachers David Kyle and George Peckham. My idea is simple: you produce/record the music, and I produce/record the vocals. You would send me instrumental music as a stereo mix, and I would then add the vocal tracks- do a stereo mix, and send it back to you. Then we have a complete musical statement. I can also send you wav files of the vocal tracks if you like, that you can sync up in your daw. I have done this successfully many times. It could be 1 or 2 songs, or something more. I prefer to write my own lyrics and vocal melody.
I am quite versitale as far as music style. If it is music played with conviction and talent, I will pick up on that. Rock, hard rock, metal, ballad, power ballad, jazz rock, fusion, soul, funk, prog, guitar or keyboard based- are all good. I'm not so interested in country, blues, reggae. If you are interested, you can send an MP3/other by email. If it strikes me as something I feel inspired to write lyrics and melody for- we are off and running. I am recording with Adats, so that is why I am taking the stereo mix approach. This will actually work universally with all formats.
I have over 10 full CDs worth of my solo music (often playing all instruments too), and many group recordings on youtube. You can browse my various couple hundred + songs there. lets make some satisfying musical statements- music is life! FREDDY K
