This Kay Speed Demon K573 guitar was originally sold through Western Auto mail order catalogs, whose instruments bore the "Truetone" name.
Made in 1962 it is in great condition with an arched Maple top and back, a bolt on soft V shaped Maple slim neck with a bound Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard and brass frets. A floating Rosewood bridge, trapeze tailpiece, and Kluson Deluxe single-line tuners. The Speed Bump pickups are single coil designs and all work great. A four position, rotary switch, volume/tone for each pickup. The sunburst finish is in good shape, with lots of glossy shine to it.
The original chipboard case is included.
I will not respond if you ask if it is "still available". If the listing is up, then it is available.
