For Sale : Solid Oak Dining Table with/ Leaf in Espresso Finish — Perfect for large families or special occasions. Main table =This table was compensation from a local custom furniture store where I was a design consultant. It is UNUSED . It originally was sold as a 2 part set ( table & X supports ) . The supports were two X braces in same finish . This table is 76” L x 46 “ W . The insert is 18” L X 46” L for 36 sq ft total dining surface . It is indestructible. I had intended to use this in my home but with 2 old whiskey barrels fixed to each underside as my supports . Plans changed and it has been wrapped and protected in my home .This table is extremely well constructed with reinforcing solid wood corner blocking for all underside supports and heavy gauge solid brass joinery for the weight of the oak . All hardware is solid , heavy brass . Someone who is handy as a woodworker could design their own support but I still like the whiskey barrels or two picnic tables . ( we originally staged it with/ 2 espresso picnic benches on each side & linen arm chairs for the host chairs at either end ) . Originally the set sold w/ bracing for $1500. - 750 for x braces and picnic tables and 750 for table top w/ leaf . Asking 125 for table including the leaf . This table is HEAVY . You will need help and vehicle . ( I am not able to lift it ) .Will not take a master carpenter to give your family a piece you’ll all gather around forever .
