Gradual changes in research happen with steady investigation
Position yourself for the new type II diabetes research as part of the UTRELDA study.
The UTRELEDA study is evaluating an investigational drug for people living with type II diabetes. While in the study, participants will receive either the investigational drug or placebo and will attend a minimum of 15 study visits over a period of 52 weeks (12 months). The placebo looks just like the investigational drug but contains no active ingredients. Researchers use a placebo to better understand how an investigational drug works in participants.
To qualify for UTRELDA, you must:
-Be at least 18 years of age
-Have type II diabetes mellitus
-Have a body mass index (BMI) of at least 27 kg/m2 (the study team can help determine this)
-Been taking metformin for at least 90 days
-Have an HbA1c between 7.0 and 10.5%, both inclusive
-This is not a complete list of requirements to be in the study
There is no cost to participate.
