First off... I'm not bisexual. I'm purely queer.. I don't date men. I've never dated a man. I am not attracted to men. In general, apart from being friends, there's nothing marginally attractive to me about a man. I would like to meet a woman that generally falls in the same category. Hm, I think they call them lesbians. I'm always open to a discussion on the bisexual woman and I'm aware that there is an inordinate amount of women that identify as bisexual posting on here ...I've always taken a laissez-faire approach toward what other people want in their lives... so I realize I have a prejudice along these lines and as a lesbian I feel guilt when I express that type of prejudice because it's a direct contradiction to what I fundamentally believe-- that said, I simply find bisexual women and men for that matter, to be a huge turn off, for many many reasons... most of which can be spelled out in 99.9% of the posts on this site and can be summed up in a word. Unbeautiful.
I like smart women. Some women have expressed that this is arrogance, but the fact is sitting across from a person that doesn't know what the hell I'm talking about 90% of the time, kind of bugs me. The fact that a person has no opinion on general topics in the news, because they have no idea what's going on... bothers me. That said, if you have an opinion, let it be an informed opinion... not low information clutter, mixed with urban myth bullshit. In other words, intellectual curiosity is desirable... having an interest in something beyond your own existence... wanting to know something for the sake of wanting to know... not because you have something to gain, that's the kind of person I would like to meet.
I'm not a genius -- if you are, great... I would love to meet you, but if you're not, that's OK too -- but please, don't be ignorant. Sadly, the ignorant are usually unaware of their station in life.

I have a feeling that those two rather simple requests will be a heavy lift... and I warn people away from auditioning, be yourself... I know the difference. I'm also open to friends... and not the kind of 'wink wink... nudge nudge' friendship that seems to be all the rage. I know it's a concept, but I actually have friends that I've known for a very long time and I've never had sex with them ... I'm for that, it works too.

Who am I looking for? I'm looking for a woman who still loves having a door held open for her. A woman who values integrity and isn't afraid to share her beliefs, feelings and opinions, but respects others' views as well. Someone who loves the attentiveness that comes from being with a loving woman, but when she isn't the center of attention, she's confident enough to not need to steal the spotlight.
Someone who is comfortable with the fact that I'm female bodied but not as feminine as some. A woman who has her priorities in line and has a productive and happy life. She values spirituality, and understands that does not have to mean religious. She understands I can have one dynamic with her and a totally different dynamic with others in my life. She loves animals of all kinds, and respects nature.
Her eyes sparkle, and her smile can light up my world. She loves being doted on and adored, and equally loves pampering her lover. She is at home with my family, my friends, my coworkers, out in a crowd of strangers, or all alone with me in the dark of the night. She has a life of her own, understands that I do too, and still feels like she has room in her life to build something special with me.
Intelligence is a must have; brains are sexy. It doesn't matter how "hot" a woman is, if there's nothing between her ears, she's not going to hold my interest for more than a minute. On the other hand, I know I can find a woman sexy on the basis of just her mind, and the affinity of the physical comes from that attraction.
What types of things aren't factors? Age isn't an issue. I am 47 but I find women of all ages sexy. A girl of 22 is just a different kind of beauty than a mature woman of 58; not more appealing to me, not less, just different -- I can love the maiden, the mother or the crone. Race is also no problem, though culture and language could be. Please speak English well, though I do not mind if it isn't your first language. I have always loved the curvy girls best, but lately I've realized that the slimmer girls can certainly be just as stunning. Either way, weight is not a problem, as long as you weigh enough to be healthy, and little enough to be mobile. I'm heavier, myself, at 5'7" and a bit more than 200 pounds. I love women's bodies. I love hard biceps. Soft curves. Crinkled pink nipples. Long silky hair. Short boi haircuts. Tattoos and piercings. Pristine unmarked skin. Full hips. Slender frames.
