Ok, looking for band members to start a band that work swing or 2nd shift, but that can gig on Fri., Sat. Nights. Hard for me to jam with any normal 9-5 er's. So I'm giving this a try. I play rythmn and sing, need lead, bass, drums, keys also would be nice. Horns ok too. Would go for Supergroup, if possible. Any experience is open as long as your dedicated, and a fast learner, no ego's and definitly no opinionated spouses or girlfriend drama. Just want to play stuff that's good, but different from everybody else. This will be a progressive long term project into playing full-time, being the best and if chemistry right ,maybe some good original music to get us to the top. Or to a point of comfortability doing what we enjoy. Be it studio or writing, or reaping from royalty checks and attending or even playing the Grammys, etc... So if you had problem starting or getting in a band, and want to work at something solid an tight and don't mind investing time into others much less yourself, or vice-versa, whatever. If you a fly by night, band to band player and think your better than joe blow, or judge others. This probably won't be for you. I'm 45, and still rock, but I'm too old to shuffle thru players to keep things going. Age is open, but undedication isn't , willingness to take long road is needed. If you haven't played in awhile and are trying to get back into a groove, this might be the thing for you. You must have good time playing and be able to keep in time, I want things to be tight in every way, even as friends, this is my last chance, and I don't want someone screwing it up, cause they want to screw, or their spouse, or girlfriend wants to screw someone in band. Or drink, or do drugs. to deal with problems. Or tendency to want to spend luxurious nights at 201 Poplar, or related addresses that require cuff links to check in. Just please be mature.
